Round out the the evening by lounging in an Adirondack chair by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sipping a night cap.

Location of House

The 2-acre yard and creek are located behind the house, but the house is close to the road, as is the case with many old homes. Plenty of room for you to roam with your dog and for the kids to play safely in the back, but we like guests to be fully aware as to where the house is situated on the property. We do not have a fence along the road.

We had such a beautiful time at Mary's place! The property was even better than we had expected - very storybook like. The creek behind the home was a lovely place to sit and have coffee in the morning. The home was designed really nicely; all the touches and colors made sense, but also felt warm and inviting. Many amenities akin to a hotel; Mary left a local bag of coffee which was also a nice touch. Our stay was cozy and we can't wait to return!

“Great cozy place to stay

Great cozy place to stay while exploring the Catskills! Its an older home but has all the comforts you need. Nice touch with the art, the creak gave me a chance to relive childhood with my daughter, and it was amazing so stand in the yard and stair up and see the milky way.

House Rules

No smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, throw out the cigarette butts
Dogs allowed under 50 lbs, with $100 additional fee. Dogs must be crated when you leave the home. Dogs must be potty trained.
Please don't eat or drink in the bedrooms.
Respect check-in and check-out times. You can check with us about the option to check in early or check out late.
No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
Review contract for full understanding of house policies.

Accidents happen—If anything was damaged during your stay, alert the homeowner right away. We may be able to remedy the situation if we know sooner than later.

Damage Waiver Fee

We require non-refundable Damage Waiver Fee of $34 in lieu of a security deposit to cover incidentals and accidents, up to $300. (This excludes any pet-related damages). It is marked as the management fee on your listing. Note: Full details of what is and is not covered is included in our guidebook under house manual.
