The space was very cozy and had everything we needed. Great place to relax after a good hike. Mary made our trip very easy!

Super quick accomodations and responses, clean, neat, thoughtful details throughout the place (loved that), great/large outdoor area for kids to play. My Kids (8 and 10) loved it! My favorite was the indoor fireplace, with already provided dry wood, newspapers, and a lighter!

Mary's place was wonderful! The cookware was top-notch, the space was beautiful, and there were plenty of towels. The heating was perfect for the season, the bed was super comfortable, and the location was incredibly convenient to drive to Belleayre Ski Center. Mary was also very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Batavia Creek Cabin. The setting was so peaceful and quiet with an amazing vista looking across Batavia Kill, to the mowed fields and rising hillside. 10 to 12 deer would feed in the field in the early morning and at dusk. The home had everything you need and was immaculate. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. My brother and I drove over to Shandaken to fly fish Esopus Creek. Oakley's Wood Fired Grill was 10 minutes away and the pizza was outstanding. We will definitely return in the future!

Our stay at the Batavia Creek Cabin was wonderful. Mary was quick to respond to any questions, all the kitchen supplies you could ever need were provided. Our dogs loved the creek, and we really enjoyed watching deer from the porch while we drank coffee. It was very peaceful, clean and cozy. The surplus of board games was amazing. The wood was dry for fires and it was overall a great stay.

Great cozy place to stay while exploring the Catskills! Its an older home but has all the comforts you need. Nice touch with the art, the creak gave me a chance to relive childhood with my daughter, and it was amazing so stand in the yard and stair up and see the milky way.

More like a hotel than an airbnb, very well equipped, very well thought out, many power strips and extra chargers and things you might need or have forgotten Didn't skimp on the towels or paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent etc. Extremely well equipped kitchen, including a meat thermometer, kitchen aid, sharpened knives, all clad pans Really beautifully renovated home that's styled tastefully, giving a cosy vibe and still features some old parts of the original home. Overall very professional & well thought out.

The pictures really do not do it justice! The house is beyond charming- and the sound of the creek really puts you in a state of calm. So close to adorable downtown Margaretville, great farmers markets, and so many trails. Can't recommend Mary and her beautiful rental enough!

We loved our stay! The creek was the feature and we were in the water everyday. In the house we had lots of games to play and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear!

Such an amazing stay especially for the price! The home is gorgeous and the backyard was perfect for the two dogs we brought. The creek access was easy to find and the kitchen was fully equipped for a large dinner we cooked. Very close to all Margaretville has to offer while feeling secluded at the same time!

Really lovely spot! Very thoughtfully and thoroughly equipped with great touches - proper array of spices in the kitchen, blanks for the firepit, bubbles and bug spray for outdoor activities in the summer - and the house and grounds were beautiful! You can tell a lot of though was hone into support guest stays in the space. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the river more!

Mary is the Queen of Airbnb hosting. Her house was better stocked than our own home, we needed nothing and packed way too much - it was all there waiting for us! The thyme lawn, swing for the kids, large creek, and countless other quintessential relaxing elements were in place. We will be back!

We have been going to the Catskills for more years than I want to admit. This is maybe the best spot we have ever visited. The view is amazing, the cabin feels very secluded, but is not far from Margaretville.
